The database lists NK objects which were published in interim reports up to November 2002. So far, this amounts to approximately 1650 paintings, 350 items of furniture and 130 other objects. As soon as a new interim report is published the items listed in it will be added to the database.

The provenance date, name and place.
The provenance date indicates a start or end date of possession, if this is proven by source material.
The date is indicated as follows: year, month, day.
Provenance name not only lists the owners, but also the auction houses, intermediaries, institutions, transport companies, etc.

The source of the provenance name, place and date. (archival material, literature and other sources)
Comment The comments field contains additional information on the provenance data.
Conclusion
The provenance data is conclusive
The conclusion concerning the reconstruction of the provenance history. The conclusion states 'The provenance data is conclusive' if all transfers of possession from 10 May 1940 up to the moment at which the object came into enemy possession are documented in the source material found up to now. The conclusion that the provenance data is conclusive says nothing about the nature of the transfer of possession.
